Radicals For Capitalism by Brian Doherty
Just added this to the recommended reading list. While not wholly 100% pro-Libertarian; it does hilite the philosophy behind the movement. Unfortunately, it dwells a little bit on the cranky personalities of Rand and others. But anyone with a Conservative nature gets slammed hard for not being facetiously nice. Former President Clinton had famous angry flare-ups, but the press fauned and forgave his every personality flaw.
