Vicente Fox Calls For North American Union

Calls for immigration reform in U.S. then admits plan for single NAFTA currency

In a series of interviews to promote his new book, Revolution of Hope, former Mexican leader Vicente Fox has trumpeted rampant globalization and has declared anyone who opposes such "harmonization" and diminishment of sovereignty "racist" and "xenophobic".
Over the course of a week Fox has called for a North American Union, a single North American currency and a complete overhaul of the U.S. immigration policy to allow more Mexicans to legally enter the country.
To the wild cheers of the Daily Show audience Fox called for U.S. immigration reform stating "It's my impression that fear is guiding public opinion here and xenophobia. They are thinning the space because Congress has not decided yet, it is a hundred year old issue, immigration, and I think they can come up with a very wise solution to immigration because it's a win-win situation, everybody will be better off."
When asked if he supported globalization through NAFTA, Fox responded:
"Yes, absolutely, NAFTA has been good, as a matter of fact we should have a new vision, go further, integrating and working together to build a better future for both.
"That happened with Spain and with the European Union with them joining the union and having access to those huge cohesive bonds, they were able to overcome poverty and today Spain, or Ireland or Greece or Portugal are all very successful nations, what you need is a little bit of solidarity."
Stewart then went on to ask "Would you like to see a North American Union with the U.S. Mexico, and Canada, you want Canada in there?"
To which Fox responded "Yes long term, yes."

Fox also criticized the Venezuelan and Bolivian leaders who have vowed to resist any form of globalizing union of the Americas, calling them "terrible people" to the rapturous applause of the audience.
However, John Stewart and his audience had previously cheered and fawned over Bolivian leader Evo Morales, when he appeared on the Daily Show, telling him that U.S. politics is "rigged" and applauding his achievements in redistributing wealth in Bolivia.
Watch it:

Though the respective leaders of Bolivia and Venezuela are far from perfect, it is clear that their popularity amongst their own people has come due to the fact that they have managed to offset centuries of repression, occupation and dictatorship supported by their country's wealthy elite and right-wing oligarchies with the backing of the U.S. and other western governments.
Chavez and Morales are fiercely patriotic leaders whose protection of their own country's sovereignty is a constant thorn in the side of the globalizing and nation plundering elite, who refer to them as dictators when they are anything but.
Vicente Fox also made an astounding admission last night on CNN's Larry King Live when he acknowledged the plan for a North American single currency, a "euro-dollar" as King labeled it.
In yet another separate interview Fox also stated that he believes "racists" are preventing increased immigration into the U.S.:
"The xenophobics, the racists, those who feel they are a superior race ... they are deciding the future of this nation," he said in an interview with The Associated Press.

Figures like Vicente Fox are adept at selling globalization to the public, promoting goals such as the North American Union as simplistic happy go lucky agreements that will touch everyone and enable us all to live in harmony, without any borders or divisions.
Yet in reality such forces of globalization are geared to benefit only the rich Western elites who propose them. They are geared to merge economies and bring them further under private corporate control.
Such "harmonization" is not designed to enhance freedom of movement, but instead to restrict and control the movement of people through increased security, surveillance and tracking. It is designed to facilitate the increased plundering by global corporations of the infrastructure, valuable commodities and land belonging to the people of nations in order to maximize private wealth and diminish the free market. It is designed to indenture debt and dependence on global bodies such the IMF and the World Bank who act as nothing more than huge loan sharks.
The globalist movement represents the very antithesis of a rich, culturally diverse, healthy, competitive and prosperous society. In an insatiable drive to satisfy the elite's desire for more, it seeks instead to eliminate such traits, to widen the rich/poor divide and to grind the under classes together into one exhausted and depleted mass of chowder.
Which is why although you will see figures like Vicente Fox triumphing the plan for a North American Union with a single currency, the corporate media still denies it's existence and the implementation of the agenda must be an "evolution by stealth" as recently released Security and Prosperity Partnership documents (PDF link) admit.

"The most important feature of the SPP design is that it is neither intended to produce a treaty nor an executive agreement like the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) that would require congressional ratification or the passage of implementing legislation in the United States. The SPP was designed to function within existing administrative authority of the executive branch."
