Obama and Stalin: How they're alike

There have been scores of books that have attempted to pull the media mask off of Barack Obama and reveal the naked communist that resides within him. Some, like Dinesh D’Souza’s “The Roots of Obama’s Rage” and Stanley Kurtz’s “Radical-in-Chief,” have been especially revealing.
None of these works, however, has come as close to entrapping the purveyor of the biggest political scam in U.S. history as Edward Klein’s new book, “The Amateur.” I have to admit I was surprised when I saw that the book had risen to No. 1 on the New York Times best-seller list, even though the far-left media have virtually ignored it.

But give credit where credit is due. The New York Times, as it has done throughout its long history, once again placed the integrity of its industry-standard best-seller list above its ideological beliefs.
Though they are trying hard not to acknowledge the existence of Klein’s book, the left-wing media by now must be quietly apoplectic – especially when reading about Klein’s tell-all, three-hour interview with Jeremiah Wright. Among other revelations, Wright told Klein he was offered $150,000 by an Obama surrogate to keep his mouth shut during Obama’s run for president.
Tens of millions of us unenlightened folks realized early on that the Barack Obama the media had invented was a total fraud. To borrow Obama’s own words from his book “Dreams from My Father,” he was, from his first day in public office, “a spy behind enemy lines.”
Though he was actually referring to his time in corporate America when he wrote those words, his background, as well as his words and actions since becoming president, make it clear that Obama considers the real enemy to be the United States of America. Which means that the day he was sworn into office (you know, when he promised to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States), he became the enemy from within who immediately had access to every top-secret U.S. document.
While reading Walter Laqueur’s biography of Josef Stalin, I was struck by a couple of similarities between Stalin and Obama. Even though Stalin’s life and personality were for very different from Obama’s, there are a couple of important similarities between the two men. The most obvious one, which almost certainly laid the foundation for the hatred that was embedded in the souls of both leaders, was their extremely dysfunctional and unhappy childhoods.
A second similarity is their remarkable success in portraying themselves to be men of great character and morality, the exact opposite of who they really were/are. Stalin, much like Obama today, succeeded in carrying out a nonstop propaganda campaign in which he was portrayed to the public as the kindly “Uncle Joe,” notwithstanding his ruthless murdering of tens of millions of his own countrymen.
Author Laqueur could just as well have been referring to Barack Obama when he wrote:
In many thousands of editorials, speeches, pictures, poems, plays, songs, and movies, there was far more extravagant praise. He [Stalin] was compared to a mountain eagle … and a falcon, to the sun, the moon, and the stars; he was not only the undisputed leader of the Soviet Union, but of all progressive mankind, the greatest man who had ever lived. Little children were writing poems such as “Stalin! Thou art dearer to us than anything in the world.”
Today, angry, far-left hate mongers such as Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz and Chris Matthews provide pretty much the same kind of nauseating propaganda about “Uncle Barack.” But lately their job has become much more difficult, as the truth about Obama is erupting from every direction.
For example, in his book, Edward Klein quotes Obama’s onetime Chicago physician, staunch liberal Dr. David Scheiner, as saying, “I think there is too much of the University of Chicago in him. By which I mean he’s academic, lacks passion and feeling, and doesn’t have the sense of humanity that I expected.”
Many of us picked up on Obama’s lack of feeling and nonexistent humanity early on. In my article “Saul, Barack and me, Part 1,” back in 2009, I wrote, “After a good deal of study and observation, my take on him [Obama] is that he is a man without a soul. And, as a soulless individual, his actions are not hampered by trivial moral considerations.”
Thus, the one thing that I believe Obama definitely has in common with Josef Stalin is that he lacks compassion for others, be they rich or poor, while professing, like Stalin, to be the great defender of the working class.
Now, as Obama’s mask is wearing thin, a number of garden-variety liberal Democrats have done the unthinkable – spoken out against his attacks on Bain Capital. They include Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Delaware Sen. Chris Coons, Newark Mayor Corey Book, former Tennessee Rep. Harold Ford Jr. and former Obama “car czar” Steve Rattner.
But don’t sell Obama and his switchblade smile short just yet. He has a troupe of assassins behind him that make the perpetrators of the Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre look like Boy Scouts by comparison. They include such left-wing radicals as Valerie Jarrett, Kathleen Sebelius, Eric Holder, Richard Tumka, David Axelrod, Andy Stern, Van Jones, Mark Lloyd, Cass Sunstein, Anita Dunn, John Holdren, Bill Ayers and, above all, the “kind and gracious” FLOTUS.
He also has the money, the support of millions of useful idiots and a revolutionary’s rigid determination when it comes to bringing down America, Western civilization and capitalism.
And, as a bonus, the guy he’s running against – who made a fortune as the head of Bain Capital – is unlikely to exploit the fact that many of those in Obama’s own party take issue with his attacks on the very company that he [Romney] once headed!
If Romney gets much queasier about speaking the truth about Obama, Republicans may start producing John McCain signs that read: “MISS ME YET?”
